The most popular material used in the manufacture of piercing jewellery. Alloy 316L is the highest quality type of surgical steel. The polished steel is perfectly smooth and shiny. It has a slightly lighter shade than titanium and a more affordable price. Due to its low nickel content, surgical steel products should not be used by people who are allergic to this metal. Steel should also not be used for fresh piercing. It can be subjected to a sterilisation process.
How to put on a clicker?
Clickers have recently become hugely popular, thanks to their very easy opening system and hassle-free earring changes. The clicker earring has a single component in its design, which is mounted on a tiny hinge. As a result, there is no need to bend the earring part or pull small parts out of the earring (as is the case with a bendable circle or segmented circle) . The moving part of the earring is permanently attached to the ornament and you only need to gently lever the hinged part to open the hoop. It is best to practice opening and closing the earring initially "dry", i.e. without inserting it into the piercing channel. After a short dose of practice, you can become proficient, where removing or inserting the earring becomes quick and effortless.
How to put on a ring?
There are several types of hoops, so the guide is divided into the different types of hoops, depending on their opening system. When choosing the type of hoop earring, you should mainly be guided by comfort and take into account which type of clasp will be easiest for you to put on and take off the earring.
